MEDICAL THERMAL IMAGING (MTI)

Medical Thermal Imaging is a non-invasive technique that gives the medical practitioner a much earlier glance into health problems than conventional medical testing methods. In other words, Medical Thermal Imaging can be used to identify possible problems in the body before the problems have had an opportunity to get out of hand. MTI can be used to detect changes in breast tissue, damage to muscles and tendons, nerve and organ dysfunctions and can even assist in the early detection of circulatory issues that can lead to stroke or heart attack. MTI can also be used to detect and measure the intensity of pain.

MTI uses an infrared thermal scanning device that can measure body temperatures down to the tenth of a degree. Normally, temperatures in the different hemispheres of the human body remain symmetrical. When a thermal scan of a patient is read, the practitioner looks for temperature differences between the different hemispheres of the body.
